I got this system with a corrupted HD OS so I installed Win2k on it.
(Fun, it needs to be done with a fully charged battery, trust me.)

I installed a version of Media Player 9 as I didn't get any recovery CD
from the previous owner, but in trying a new reissue of '48 Hours' I
got the old "We can't tell if this is a pirated copy or not" BS and it
refused to play past the opening menu.

I know the answer is to install a better application, hence my post.

What would be a better, non-spyware, program to play DVDs from a Tecra

    Thx in advance,
