    Hi

My thinkpad T41 broke and I need a new systemboard. Would it be
possible to use a T40 systemboard instead ? (its cheaper)

I have a Pentium M Banias 1.6 Ghz CPU (not a Dothan like the T42s).

    Any opinion on this ?

    Thanks

    /Michael

  2. As long as they're both the same size, e.g. both 14.1" (did they make a 15"
T41?) then my opinion would be Yes. T40, T41 and some of the T42's are
identical. (2373 model anyway, which I have seen a few of).
