My friend has a refurbished thinkpad t30 2366 mu2. when she tries to play a dvd, she gets a message saying that "the tv out port of your display card is not working properly." She's running WinXP. In Device Manager, Video Controller (VGA compatible) says the drivers are not installed. I went to IBM's website and followed all the directions to get the only video driver that was available (1rd633ww.exe). I installed it and absolutely nothing changed. Did I download the wrong thing? Has anyone else experienced this problem?
