Flashing amber light means there may be a problem with the AC adapter,
the battery, or the computer. Unplug the AC adapter, remove the
battery and reinstall it. If the light still flashes the main battery
may not be inserted properly. Turn off the computer, clean the
contacts with a soft dry cloth and replace the battery.

Note: We are talking about the light on the far left of the bank of 4
lights, with the "plug" symbol above it. If is the second one in, with
the computer symbol with "ON" in it, then flashing amber light in two
second intervals means the power is off and the computer is in
Suspend, Stand By or Resume Mode.

    Good Luck
