Tyan Thunder i860 S2603: 2 shot beeps, then nothing

    I have a system with the above motherboard. It has been running reliably
    for some time but has now died.

    On power up, it gives 2 short beeps, then nothing. Nothing happens, no
    display, disks access lights show no activity.

    Any ideas? I already tried taking out half the memory, then replacing it
    and taking out the other half (using configurations that should not
    require Continuity RIMMS).
