Discussion in 'Tablet PC' started by frustrated note-taker, Oct 16, 2006.

  1. I'm planning to download onenote2007 onto a UMPC and use it for simultaneous
    notetaking + audio recording purposes
in situations where a tablet PC / laptop would be too big to carry around.
    1) Which brands carry the pen & ink + audio recording device?
    2) And of those brands, which records the best sound quality? How
close do I need to be to the speaker and quiet do our surroundings have to
be for me to pick up clear sound?
    3) Can this brand store at least 1 hour of note taking + audio recording
(I’d be doing both tasks simultaneously)?
    4) Can you transfer the information on your UMPC to a lap top computer?
    5) Does anyone know if the pepper pad has those features that i’m looking
for and if it takes onenote 2007? Basically, i’m looking for a small
computing device that does the above functions. If there’s an alternative to
the umpc, like a tablet pc that’s about that size, maybe just a tiny big
bigger, i would love to know about it.

    Thank you
