Upgrade Athlon XP-M to mobile Athlon 64?

    I've seen some postings, e.g.
    <http://forums.amd.com/lofiversion/index.php/t62065.html>, suggesting
that it is possible to upgrade an Athlon XP-M machine to a socket 754
    mobile Athlon 64.

Has anyone done this successfully? I'm interested in trying this
upgrade on an HP ZE4805US (currently Athlon XP-M 2800+).

    According to <http://fab51.com/cpu/guide/opn-s754-e.html> the TDP
should be similar so I am hoping for no cooling issues. But I'd like at
least to hear that it worked for someone before I put down the money
    for the new chip.
