Decided to turn my current rig into my print server (I had an old Dell P2 system before). I thought this would be an excellent idea since the new server supports USB 2.0. But I'm having problems. Installing the printer was no problem. Even printed the test page sucessfully. When I went to reboot I got a check stop error. This repeatedly happens unless I unplug the printer's USB cable. I even tried my scanner but got a similar problem.The printer is only USB 1.1 compliant but the scanner is USB 2.0 compliant. Any clues as to what's going on? BTW, I'm using Windows 2000 with SP4 installed. I have all the latest Intel INF files installed along with the App. accelerator software.
