V880 Crashes after Kernel Patch

  1. After upgrading to the latest kernel patch my v880 crashes repeatly
    complains about ufs boot problem was there any firmware patches which
    had to be loaded on the controllers or hard disks ? Like on the 440's
    which had scsi problems a while back ?

    Are you on Solaris 8 or 9?

    Did you load the entire recommended patch cluster?

    Rodrick,
    you could at least provide some error messages so we've got
    something to look at!

    There is a large variety of issues which fall into the "ufs
    boot problem" bucket....
