I just installed my new mobo Abit NF7-S V2.0 Everything is fine except
the sound. The effect is so strange that I really don't know how to
discribe it, maybe because of my english too :). I will try do my
best. Let's imagine that we are watching a divix movie. Everything is
fine, the sound, the quality of the image but not the movie itself :)
So we dicide to switch to onother one. Before doing so we decide to
adjust some sound parameters in the nVidia mixer, for ex. to switch on
cloning options. After that, every time we decide to watch a new movie
we can hear on the beginning of it, for a very short period of time, a
strange sound whitch belongs to the audio track of the movie played
    before.
I have tried almost EVERYTHING, bios options, latest bios, latest
windows drivers. The effect appare under Knoppix linux too, so it's
    software independant !

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Just a guess. Did you download and install the latest nVidia
chipset/platform driver package (so your OS knows how to use the audio
    hardware)?
