Why I add 1GB RAM the computer slow down????

    I use ASUS P5RDV1-VM motherboard, my headache is that I have just upgrade the memory from 1GB to 2GB, the 2 ram are both manufactured by SAMSUNG, but the fact is that it didn’t improve my computer’s performance, on the contrary, it slow down and become very sluggish, the symptom is that it’s ok when I start windows, but after 30 minutes, the windows become very sluggish even I close ALL running program and just clicking around through the file explorer. I suspect it is a memory issue because I got no problem if I unload one of my 1GB ram.

    It sounds very weird and it is the first time I face this kind of situation, do anyone have any idea what is going wrong, because I can now only using 1GB ram in order to have it run smoothly...
