win xp installation problem

Hi I'm new to this forum. Last week I installed a MSI K8T Neo2 motherboard with an AMD 64 3200 CPU. I also formated my SATA HD (Maxtor 6200). I booted from the Win XP CD to reinstall WIN XP. Everything was normal until XP rebooted my System to complete the installation. After the restart, the win xp load screen appeared for a short moment followed by the blue setup screen. Then the monitor went black and the system rebooted again (like an endless loop). Can anybody help me with this problem
