BH-5: More agressive timings
CH-5: Higher max freq.

cheers Geoff, it's BuffaloTech Memory PC3700/466/Rev 'B' that I'm after here in the UK:
http://www.buffalotech.com/memory/prod-ddrdimm.html

It's the Abit NF7-S v2.0 nForce2 (Socket A) Motherboard (MB-028-AB from:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Abit.html

I've already bought and built these boards with cheepo shitty computer fair type PC3200/2500 Barton CPU's and they run stable at 200FSB/3200CPU

I'm just interested to see if this Buffalo stuff can do 220FSB with the CPU at 3200 or 3300 [ 12x275 ]

It should. I'm running Buffalo Tech PC3700 at 220 mhz on an Abit IC7 with fairly aggressive timings of 2,3,2,6 at 2.8v.

Mine's an Intel box, but the ram is good to 220+ at CAS 2 and 230+ at CAS
2.5.

I have two sticks of Buffalo PC3700 512MB and at 2-5-2-2, I'm running them at 200 at 2.8V on my Abit IS7, running 1:1 with a P4 2.6c.

However, according to my experience and also to two reviews on the net, this ram cannot reach 233 no matter how relaxed your timing is:

http://www.ocworkbench.com/2003/buffalo/pc3700/pc3700-3.htm
- on an IC7-G, the highest they reached was 223, 1:1, 2.5-7-4-4

http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=1388&page=1
- on an AMD rig (Epox 8RGA+), the highest they reached was 215 at 2-5-2-2 at
2.9V, and 225 at 3-8-4-4.

So as another poster pointed out, this memory is good for tight timing, but not for high frequency.

Cheers,
Dave
