Anyone know if there is a WHD greater than the version 2.70 that came with my BD711?
Anyone know if there is a WHD greater than the version 2.70 that came with my BD711?
And if there is, can it be downloaded from anywhere?

Have your tried Motherboard Monitor yet? Most folks like it much better than the ABIT supplied utility.

I prefer WHD's display over MM's. Everything's in one place.
Is WHD not working properly on the BD7-II?

Hi folks,
Firstly, yes, my current version (2.70) is working fine, but I saw a version 3.xx pictured in a review of a later (IS-??) Abit mobos. But having now visited the Abit USA website (as suggested) my guess is its only made for those mobos.
You know how it is, I see an update, looks different, and think to myself must try it, etc, etc.
I have tried MBM, but I gotta admit every time I try it, I install it, run it, and alarms go off immediately and I cant turn them off. I guess its just a case of setting it up, but I can never seem to 1. Silence the alarms successfully and 2. Set it up, before the wife threatens to kill me because of the noise (see 1. !!! ).
Thanks so far.

ftp://ftp.abit.com.tw/pub/download/utilities/hw_doctor/bd7-ii/hwm_bd7-ii.exeDid you actually try the HWD version linked for your board?
I can't tell what version it is, but the cab files are dated March 2003.
I also prefer MBM, though it is trickier to set up initially. There are help files on their web site to show you which sensors correspond to which readings on your board. As for the alarms, wait until your wife is out of the house. You only have to set the defaults once.
