I pulled a mini-pci wireless-b from a D-link pci card over a year ago for my Dell Inspiron
8200 and it works great. I want to upgrade to a wireless-g mini-pci but so far I haven't been
able find another mini-pci from a similiar setup. I hear that the linux/notebook solutions
have been found for mini-pci setups. Can anyone point me to a pci card with a mini-pci
    device?

If there is one, check newegg.com, zipzoomfly.com, buy.com, etc.

The Microsoft G PCI card has a MiniPCI card inside, you'll have to desolder
    the co-ax though.
    IIRC it's the MN-720.
