Which of these 2 systems are better? (i.e. faster processing, etc.)

I do a lot of 3D work and memory demanding number crunching, 3 apps
    multitasking.

The 380 does not have the Duo Core processors, but their price at Dell
    are about equal.

    Thoughts?

the 380 is much better. i got a 3.4 and 3.8 for a good price and they
run like gangbusters. look at the new 390 or so. they are adding core
    2. i wouldnt buy dual core anymore.

Why is it better? I can't see any reason.
