7.1 surround sound via ASUS PRIME B850 motherboard.

    Hi,

    I am an 83 year old widower who bought a Creative Inspire T7900 system many years ago and it has been superb.

    I enjoy gaming and have just bought a new desktop ASUS PRIME B850 computer to cheer me up.

    When I come to connect my Creative sound system there are only 3 ports at the back:- coloured pink, lime green and blue which are listed as Pink = Mic, Lime Green = Line Out and Blue = Line in.

    Can you help me to put the right coloured jack into the correct port please? The colour of my Creative jacks in a 3 port formation are Black, Lime Green and Orange!

    I have had no problems connecting up this system in previous desktop computers as there was always 4 or 6 colour coded ports.

    Please reply asap as I am suffering from severe systemic Sarcoma cancer and would like to enjoy some time with my new computer before the inevitable happens.
