A8N-LA power supply

    Have an HP Pavilion with an Asus A8N-LA MB. In on/off loop. Found one RAM bad. Replaced both (total 512MB) for total of 1GB. System recognizes change but keeps cycling on/off.

    All fans working, attempts to boot. Tried to boot with BartPE CD and it partially boots into the program and the computer restarts. The only thing I can think of to replace now is the Power Supply.

    Don't want to pay HP's prices for a 250W PSU. Does an industry standard PSU with a 20-4 plug(s) work? Any recommendations?

    Found out that the power supply for this Pavilion is industry standard. Thank you for your time.
