Acer Aspire AM1100 SMBuss Controller

I have an Aspire AM1100 with a F690GVM motherboard. I loaded WinXP pro onto it and the only driver it could not load is the one for the SM BUS Controller. This machine seem to originally be for windows 7 so im unsure if this is the problem. I think the chipset i need the driver for is an ITE IT8718 but have had no luck finding it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
