Hi,
I just purchased a new prebuilt PC and when I boot it up it takes about 1 minute 45 seconds before it hits Vista.
I am using the above motherboard and the bios gets to INITIALIZING USB CONTROLLERSand stays there for a very long time before it continues the rest of the bios checks and then enters Vista at about 1 minute 45 seconds. This is very slow isn't it?
In the bios settings quick boot is enabled, and I have the ASUS Mylogo disabled. This is how I noticed that the bios stops as INITIALIZING USB CONTROLLERS for a very long time before continuing.
Is there any checks I can do in the bios?
Any help greatly appreciated.
