    Hey guys,

The motherboard in question is an Asus P8P67 Pro (Rev 3.1).
I have 2 4gd sticks of corsair vengeance ddr3-1600 CL 9-9-9-24 ram. Individually, each stick will be recognized when placed in the DIMM A2 slot, but the second stick will never be recognized in the DIMM B2 slot. In this scenario, the board hangs up at DRAM light (which says on). Even after initiating the RAM compatibility testing by pressing the DRAM button on the computer, the RAM still won't be accepted.
I know these RAM work with this board as people online say they have this setup working perfectly.
I can't use the DIMM A1 slot because of my large CPU heatsink which overhangs the slot.

Any thoughts on how I can make this work?

    Thanks in advance.

Simply took out the CPU and put it back in and things are working fine. Wierd how the CPU was working perfectly except for accepting the additional RAM. Either way, things are all good now.
