ASUS sound problems

    Good day to all.
    I too have an ASUS m/borad with sound problems.
    Motherboard is M2N - SLI. During dvd playback, games, cd etc., I have sound through 5 speakers at once and nothing through the sub. The only time the sub plays is when I run the C-Media speaker test function....

    I play sound through my Yamaha RX-V340 home theatre amp. (3 cables)

    If this cannot be fixed, can anyone suggest a decent external/internal soundcard???
