Asus x515ua White Screen After Installing 8GB DDR4 RAM

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a 8GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM CL22 RAM for my Asus x515ua laptop. I made sure to install it carefully and double checked that it was properly seated in the slot. However, when I powered on the laptop, the display stayed blank white screen, and the side panel light keeps blinking continuously.

When I removed the new RAM and inserted the old stick back, the laptop booted up without any issues.

I’m not sure what’s causing the white screen problem. Could it be an incompatibility issue, or does my laptop require a BIOS update for the new RAM to work?
Has anyone else faced a similar issue? Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!
