Blue film on Z690 Gaming X (DDR5) MB

    I understand the blue film on the bottom of the M2A_CPU heatsink (1) is to be removed. The manual says that on page 24. But what about the blue film with the three holes in it at (2), that would be below the inserted M.2 SSD? Is that to be removed, or left in place? Thanks!

    I removed all film on my Z690 board.

    About a week after I asked this question on a Gigabyte site I got this answer from them: "Dear Customer, Yes, that bottom one(#2) also need to remove it. Thank you." Sorry I didn't think to post it here.
