CMOS date keeps changing

    The date on my 4 year old shuttle xpc keeps reverting to April 2004. Sometimes it boots up no problem but usually it shows a CMOS error and I have to use F1 to continue loading. On this occasions, the date has moved back 3+ years. I'm thinking this maybe the onboard battery in need of replacement. Any ideas please? Phil

    My first thought was the battery also, won't hurt to replace it.
