computer boot problem

    I have a intel 946GZIS, 512MB ram, 80 GB HDD, Win XP OS.
    My problem is that the computer will not boot immediately after shutdown.
    if i wait for some 10-15 minutes and boot my computer it works fine and i don't have any problems working.
    Any help please on this peculiar issue.
