Computer hooked up to "72 lcd tv causing interference.

I have a 72in mitsubishi lcd projection tv and i'm using it as a secondary monitor (mainly when i watch my video files) for my computer. I have it hooked up via svideo cable. I have an ati 9600 xt. Consistent waves as well as a humming sound eminating from the tv speakers are the issues. I know for sure that my computer being connected is causing the interference. Is there any way for me to resolve the issue without having to manually disconnect my computer every time i want to watch tv? Any help of any sort would be greatly appreciated.
