My computer (Custom built P4 2.66Ghz Socket 478) had been rebooting very often. So I dimantled and put evetyhing back but now it won't boot.

Num , Caps and Scroll locks lit immediately and stays on.

The CPU remains cool, no heat at all (checked by removing heat sink).

Is it the CPU or Motherboard or both that has gone bad?

    thanks

I found the source of problem....it was that cheap Power Supply.
I think it was not able to take the load. I replaced with another P4 power supply and bingo!! it works!

The reboot problem was all because of the power supply...may be this will help someone diagnose problem later :)
