I need some Tech help In my attempt to upgrade my CPU ? I currently have a Intel T7500 installed, I have a E8350 on hand (that was free) It has Better specs 3.06 vs 2.2 and 6m cache vs 4m they are both socket P CPU's the T7500 is 35w and the E8350 is 44w. the FSB is 1066 on the E8350 and 800 on the T7500 could I swap the one for the other ? Also I am using DDR 2 6400 ram if that makes a difference. The laptop I am attempting to do this upgrade to is an older model, Acer Aspire 5315-2153. I dont really use this computer I'm just playing with it just to see what It can do ! I have already upgraded from the stock Celeron 530 to the T7500, and installed a SSD 128 gb. DVD/RW, and Installed 5 gb of RAM 4gb + 1gb (I tried 6 but it didnt like it for some reason?) I know the GPU is not nearly up to todays standards but I dont play games so... Like I said in just messing around with it just because I can !! Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED !!
