create overlay failed

    I have a user that is getting the error "create overlay failed" when trying to view a dvd. The program is intervideo dvd and the machine is a gateway e4100 series desktop. I have swapped out DVD/CD rom drives i have uninstalled and reinstalled the intervideo program. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    found a fix

    I have found the fix i needed by the last step of troubleshooting. I did a memroy upgrade from 512 to 1 GB of memory and the dvd player started working.
