hello i got aulureon virus and installed malwarebytes, run a full scan and found 7 viruses. i then deleted them(yes fool i hear loudly)but then of course the computer would not re start, win 32 etc, so took it to a shop and recovery re installed xp pro 95 2001 but now i have a hp image zone error on start up as follows the programme has encountered an unexpoected error object reference not set to a distance of an object. this is installed as a start up menu prog . can i just delete it? or what else if not i have also uninstalled malwarebytes as it is far too powerful for 40gig laptop. any ideas as to gentler malware removal tool? well, it is now a month later and i solved the problem myself, many thank you's for your help and i must say, what a helpful site this has been , i will recommend it full heartedly to all i know.
