I had same problem that Trabem had in earlier thread.
Out of the blue, the system just started to hang. I checked the system for
virus and spyware and got nothing.
Took off all unused software including any virus scan and spyware. And prob
lem is same. In perfmon, when system hangs, the disk queue rapidly fluxuate
between 0 and 100%. After a while the system will calm down and perform fi
ne for awhile, then go back to near zero performance. There is nothing in t
he Taskmanager to show high processor usage. It's bizarre.
