I recently put two exhast and one intake fans on my CPU case as I had noticed that I never had any and the heat build up was too much to tolerate. Before that, about 24 hours earlier, I had upgraded my RAM from 1 GB to 2 GB by putting in two more 512 MB sticks. It worked fine until I installed and attached the fans to power supply. They do not have motherboard connections.

After intsalling the three fans, I started getting the famous and dreaded "New CPU installed! Please enter setup..." error after every reboot when even if power is cut off only for a few seconds. I have ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe with Intel P4 3.0 GHz.

I have changed CMOS battery, tried jumper technique for clearing motherboard's memory but nothing has solved this problem. It is extremely annoying to reset clock every time I reboot. I have noticed a new development that after every reboot one of these things would be disabled

    Windows Firewall
    Norton AntiVirus 2011
My Network Connections or simply no internet until I reboot.

Any ideas will be highly appreciated.
