    i own a Foxconn G31MX-K - motherboard - micro ATX - iG31 - LGA775 Socket,would i be able to use a larger sized psu than my 300w with it? and with my current 300w psu could i power a graphics card with requermnts of 400w?

    It´s not recommended. Your system will work bad or may not work.
    If you can turn on and work, your capacitors will blow soon. And your Power psu too
