Help With Battery!

    I own a Toshiba Sat. a85 laptop. I screwed its battery by never pulling it out when I had my AC adapter plugged in for long periods of time. Well I got a new one shipped and after plugging it in... IT WONT CHARGE! It keeps flashing amber and it wont charge ... I let it charge for 9 hrs a time to no avail.

    any help would be great :confused:
