When I start up my computer the CD Drive and HDD turn on, but the monitor remains blank and there's no startup beep. After being like this for a while, the monitor begins to display and the boot sequence begins (starting with POST). I've tried swapping the power supply and video card, as well as changing the CMOS battery but the problem persists. The most peculiar thing about the problem is that the delay seems to be affected by how long the computer has been turned off. If I'm just restarting, the delay only lasts a few seconds, but if the computer has been turned off overnight it lasts around seven minutes.
