k8v se deluxe, agp slot please help

    I got this MB second hand from a server rack. All info on the net and asus say that this board has 8x agp. When I get into the bios 4x is the highest option. I have a pci card installed at the moment, but would like to put a high end agp card in. it is asus k8v se deluxe rev 1.12. Any comments, opinions welcome.
