laptop help please!

Well I'm going to be going to college this year, and I need a laptop. I want one that I can use for gaming (preferably high end) as well. I like some laptops on ibuypower.com, and a lot of the alienware ones as well. I cant buy any alienwares because the prices arent too friendly. I'm trying to spend in the range of $1500-$2000. So if anyone can help me out, please do so. Thanks!

Will high end laptops with powerful Gfx cards are usually big, heavy and have a very short battery time. It won't be practical for college use.

IMO, you should think about something small, has a 14" screen and light. Like the Asus a8.
If you going 3d modeling this Lenovo Thinkpad T60p is worth the interest with its FireGL V5250.

High end gaming on laptops is just utter nonsense.
