My new motherboard (had it for about a week or so) has been running fine until this weekend. I left for the weekend and shut down the computer, turning off the power as well. When I returned today, I plugged it back in and...well, long story short, whenever the system gets shut down, I have to go in and clear the RTC RAM in order for the system to boot up. If I don't, the fans and such turn on and spin for a few seconds and then turn off. This repeats about 7 or so times and then it doesn't do anything. I tried a new/different PSU and that's not it. Could it be a dead mobo battery even though the mobo is practically brand new?

Any ideas as to what is going on here?

    Thanks!
