    Hi everyone,

I have a Packardbell desktop, it has following specs.
    Processor: Intel Pentium Dual Core
    RAM: 8G DDR2 667
    Motherboard: MCP73PVT-PM

The problem is that, when I connect the 12v ATX 4 pin cabel into its socket and power on the desktop, it turns off immediately. I remove the 12v ATX cable and power on, it turns on but there is no display on the monitor.

I'm not sure the problem is with motherboard or the processor. Can anyone help with this problem.

    Thank you.

Does your video card need a four pin cable from the power supply?
