I recently went through a BIOS mod to get the large disk support in the SI 3114 RAID BIOS.
ASUS P5AD2-E Premium 1006-006 Beta + SiI3114 IDE, SATARAID5 BIOS 3/2/2007 5.4.0.3
The 1006 native BIOS would not support my WD 1TB drives, but now with the new BIOS and new drivers, they work fine.
I couldn't find a BIOS already cooked when I was looking, so I thought I'd post this to see if there was a need.
