Bought Vaio a few months back with Vista Home premium. Built-in Camera was working fine. Yesterday on trying got error message "Unable to initialize....". i called Sony and as per their advice uninstalled the camera from the Device Manager and the utility softwares also. On rebooting, the camera is not coming back, in its place a USB Video camera has got installed and the system cannot trace or at least I am unable to trace the camera. The softwares have been installed using recovery utility. Sony is now advicing reinstalling everything from zero and I am not interested. Any other way to get the camera back ?
