Raid 10 on Supermicro X11sae

Hi all i purchased a supermicro X11sae and was setting up raid 10 with 6 1T drives and seems i am only able to select 4 drives. also tried 8 but still didn't work. any idea why this would be, i thought you had just had to have more than 4 for raid 10
