Replacing my powersupply

I have a Dell XPS 420 with the 375 watt power supply. In my oversight, I purchased a video card that needs a 450 watt power supply. So my question is a simple one, Do I just buy a decent power supply from tiger direct and install it? I haven't kept up with hardware in ages.

Besy buy hasa 550 watt power supply for about 90 bucks, that seems to be my best bet.
