Replacing the Heatsink on Optiplex 745

    Ok, I have 2 Optiplex 745 Core2 duo machines. I want to put in a high end double slot video card in each of them. I already have the cards and the machines. They both were free so im not out anything...yet....

    I know the cards hit the abnormally large heatsink in the 745 and I would like to replace it with a 3rd party one that will allow for me to put the video cards in.

    Is that possible and will there be any other issues I need to worry about other than the card being too long and hitting the heatsink.
