I still can't determine whether the LCD cable in my Travelmate 213TE is broken, or just needs to be reseated. This is because I can't open the computer completely due to a lock that holds down the keyboard. I haven't heard of this before, only of a keyboard screw; I was wondering if anyone knew how to open these.
There's a small access port near the PCMIA slot, and inside I can see a kind of button, but it's behind plastic grating and pretty much out of reach. So can I open my laptop somehow?
