Toshiba Satellite Pro A300-1rs

I have a toshiba satellite a300-1rs and it seems all the usb drives cannot read any usb stick. I tried to update the bios which 2.20 and I read in one forum that the 1.90 bios version will do the trick, problem is I can't find that version in any toshiba support pages. Can any body please help.. thanks

You should be able to see it in the bios page.
