    Motherboard: Gigabyte H97-D3H

    BIOS: F7

    OS: Windows 10 Professional – Ver. 22H2 Build: 19045.6575

    Problem:

I installed a 20-Pin TPM2.0 Module into the designated TPM plug on the motherboard.

When I open the BIOS, then select “Peripherals”, Trusted Computing is now shown.

I select the trusted Computing option, and it goes to the next screen. That screen shows “Security Device Support Enabled”

The next line shows “Current Status Information” and it is shown as unavailable, not bold letters. When I try to select it, nothing happens.

I save the changes in BIOS and exit then boot into Windows.

I open TPM Management in Windows (TPM.MSC)

When it opens, it states “Compatible Trusted Platform Module (TPM) cannot be found on this computer. Verify that this computer and a 1.2 TPM or later and is turned on in BIOS”

There is no other available option to install it or anything other selection available.

I’ve run the TPM.MSC both normally and as Administrator and get the same message.

Is there an additional step that I’m missing?
